The following are therefore excluded from the group of APE health professionals:
- health professionals who have established themselves in the course of the year.
- health care professionals who are not conventioned.
- health care professionals who are in full-time hospital practice
- health care professionals who have reached 65 years of age during the fiscal year. The source states: "A patient is assigned only once to a practicing doctor regardless of how often he or she is attended to in a year."
