This statistic represents the results of a survey conducted among relatives of people residing in an EHPAD (Etablissement d'Hébergement pour Personnes Agées Dépendantes), indicating the individuals responsible for the application for admission to this type of establishment in France in 2013. In 25 percent of the cases, the application for admission to an EHPAD came from the residents themselves.
