The amount of wheat used for animal feed in Argentina has continuously increased since the 2015/16 marketing year. In that year, wheat for feed use in the country added up to approximately 0.13 million metric tons, while in 2018/19, it was estimated at 0.35 million tons - almost triple the amount reported three years earlier. A record consumption for the decade, of 0.44 million tons, is forecasted for the 2019/20 season .
