A survey conducted about Ramadan in Indonesia in 2024 found that the majority of respondents would be eating homecooked meals for both suhoor, the early-morning meal before fasting starts, and iftar, the fast-breaking meal at the end of the day. Meanwhile, nearly 25 percent of respondents would order food through online delivery for iftar, compared to 14 percent for suhoor.
