
Average NBN and non-NBN data allowance FY 2019 by price range
In 2019, Australian National Broadband Network (NBN) customers paying a monthly rate of under 50 Australian dollars for fixed-line internet received on average 445 gigabytes of data, compared to non-NBN customers who received only 130 gigabytes on average. Non-NBN customers received significantly more data if they paid over 50 Australian dollars for their internet and enjoyed better value for money per gigabyte than their NBN counterparts in the higher price brackets.
