According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, about seven percent of respondents who did not own a smart speaker stated that they intended to purchase one, while 27 percent did not know if they will buy one. In the same survey, about 66 percent of the total respondents stated that they did not own a smart speaker.

Original question: Do you intend to purchase a smart speaker in the next 6 months?
The survey was conducted among 1,987 female and 1,390 male respondents. Other surveyed countries included China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam.
