Most common car insurance providers in Italy 2020
According to a survey conducted in February 2020, two in three Italians aged 18 years and older holding a car insurance policy said that they finalized their insurance contract through a traditional insurance company. Online insurance providers seemed to be quite popular as well, chosen by 31 percent of the respondent. By contrast, only six percent of Italians chose a bank as a car insurance provider.
