In 2021/22, it was found that nearly 87 percent of patients who underwent a hip replacement procedure in England felt that their hip problems were much better afterward, a further eight percent would rate their problems as a little better. On the other hand, 1.2 percent of respondents reported feeling much worse after the hip replacement surgery.
