According to a 2023 survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, about 19 percent of male respondents in Malaysia who did not own a smart speaker stated that they intended to purchase a smart speaker while 34 percent of female respondents did not know if they will buy one. In the same survey, about 63 percent of the total respondents stated that they did not own a smart speaker.
