As of 2018, ten percent of women and six percent of men aged between 65 and 74 years in England have experienced symptoms of asthma in the last twelve months. Across all adults in England, eight percent of women and five percent of men have experienced symptoms of asthma in the last twelve months. Although, 18 percent of women and 17 percent of men overall in England have been diagnosed with asthma.
