In 2019, there were more than 40 million subscription video-on-demand (SVoD) subscribers in Latin America. Netflix had a subscriber base of 31.5 million, while native regional providers such as Claro Video or Blim accounted for seven million subscribers. The remaining two million were clients of other SVoD services.
