In the second quarter of the financial year 2024, the amount of the self-consumption bonus for the photovoltaic (PV) solar energy installations with sale of the electricity surplus was 300 euros per kilowatt-peak for installations with a nominal power up to three kilowatt-peak. The bonus decreases for installations with a higher nominal power.

The requirements to be eligible for the bonus are: a solar photovoltaic (PV) installation mounted on the rooftop or with a support structure (no ground-mounted PV panels); PV installations with a total nominal power up to 100 kWp (kilowatt-peak); a RGE (Reconnu Garant del 'Environnement) installer of the equipment; PV installations in self-consumption with surplus injection (sale of surplus).
