Flexible office space operated by WeWork in the UK 2018, by city

In 2018, the global coworking giant WeWork played a major role on the flexible workspace market in the United Kingdom. In Central London only, it operated approximately 3.5 million square feet of flexible workspace. WeWork also participated in one of the largest deals outside of London, leasing more than seven thousand square meters on Dalton Place, Manchester City. In Central London, WeWork's new deals exceeded 62 thousand square meters.

Flexible office space, also referred to as coworking space or shared office space, refers to commercial office space that allows short-term leases to individuals, freelancers, small and medium enterprises, and other professionals. In contrast to traditional offices, flexible offices provide equipped and serviced office premises without long-term rent commitment.
