Main reasons for going to the gym in Vietnam 2017, by gender
According to the results of a survey conducted in December 2017 about the health awareness and fitness demand in Vietnam, the majority of male respondents stated that they went to the gym to gain more muscles while female respondents went to the gym to lose weight. In the same survey, 80 percent of male and 73 percent of female claimed that they either already go to, or would be interested in going to the gym.
