Dry January success in Great Britain in 2020, by age

In 2020, it was found that 64 percent of British people surveyed in the oldest age group had succeeded in giving alcohol completely during Dry January, the highest success rate across all age groups. The success rate for those who attempted Dry January increased in the older age groups. While the age group 18 to 24 years had the lowest success rate of completely giving up alcohol for the month of January, 57 percent of respondents in this age group still cut back on their alcohol intake.
