According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight, around 31 percent of Indonesian respondents 55 years old and above said that they found out about functional beverages because they saw it in a retail outlet. Non-alcoholic beverages touting numerous added health benefits have been gaining a foothold in the drinks market, as more consumers are becoming increasingly health-conscious.
