French consumers' preferred Internet channels for first and recurring purchases 2019
The statistic gives an insight on the evolution of consumer shopping preferences at different stages of the purchasing process in France in 2019. The physical purchase remained the favorite mean to find new products and to rate their quality (78 percent), followed by brand websites or app visits (10 percent). In contrast, less consumers (20 percent) referred to the physical store for a recurring purchase. Retailer websites were the destination of choice for replenishment for 30 percent of the respondents.
