Reasons for attending music festivals in the UK 2019
Apart from live acts, a number of other factors drew visitors to music festivals in the United Kingdom in 2019. Almost a third of festival-goers listed the overall festival experience itself as their main reason for attending, with music coming in a close second. A slightly smaller group cited the social aspect as a primary draw for them, while a 15 percent minority viewed festival attendance as a means of escapism from daily life.
