Ferrari number of new registrations South Korea 2015-2019

In 2019, 203 so-called "supercars" from the Italian luxury automaker Ferrari were newly registered in South Korea, a 27 percent increase compared to the preceding year and a 100 percent increase compared to four years ago. The Portofino and 488 models each accounted for around a third of the new registrations in 2019.
Despite its successes, Ferrari was surpassed in 2019 by the fellow Italian automaker Lamborghini, largely due to the popularity of the Lamborghini Urus SUV, launched in 2018. However, Ferrari continues to launch new models and has the most active marketing campaign among supercar makers in Korea, so it is expected to continue to enjoy good sales. In addition, Ferrari is preparing their own super-SUV to counter the Urus.
