In a survey conducted in 2019 by Rakuten, regarding the places in which consumers purchase functional beverages, just over 39 percent of respondents in Thailand aged between 35 and 44 years said that they purchased functional beverages at the supermarket. Contrastingly, in the same survey just under four percent of respondents in Thailand aged 55 years and older stated that they purchased functional beverages online.
