As novel coronavirus COVID-19 spreads around China, small businesses will be very likely hit hard in the country. According to a survey on the epidemic impact on business in China released in the early February 2020, less than ten percent of the surveyed companies in China had the financial ability to maintain their operation for at least six months if business shutdowns continue. About 34 percent of the enterprises had a cash balance only sufficient for one month operation.
