Since the outbreak of coronavirus COVID-19, the Chinese government has added more beds in designated hospitals in Wuhan. As of 2nd of February in 2020, the number of open beds for coronavirus infections in designated hospitals in Wuhan amounted to 11.5 thousand. The launch of Huoshenshan Hospital and Leishenshan Hospital would bring 2,600 more beds in the city.
