On the 3rd of February, 2020, the newly built Huoshenshan Hospital started receiving coronavirus patients in Wuhan. From January 25 to February 3, it took ten days and seven thousand workers to construct the hospital. Compared to Beijing Xiaotangshan Hospital built in 2003 for treating SARS patients, the construction area of Huoshenshan hospital was one third larger than that of Xiaotangshan Hospital.
