TikTok usage in the U.S. 2023, by age
According to a May 2023 survey of social media users in the United States, over 76 percent of users aged between 18 and 24 years were on TikTok. In comparison, approximately 70 percent of U.S. teens were on TikTok and interacted with the app on a monthly basis. TikTok usage diminished in older users, with only 14 percent of U.S. users aged between 55 and 64 years reporting engaging with the popular social video app.
