In 2019, roughly seven of ten IT managers surveyed in Colombia agreed that their cybersecurity budget (including people and technology) was below what it needed to be. Among both Mexican and Brazilian IT managers who participated in the survey, around 65 percent expressed the same opinion. Still, in all three countries over 80 percent of IT managers found it challenging to recruit people with cybersecurity skills.
