U.S. adults' level of concern about various viruses 2022, by gender
In a January 2022 survey, 54 percent of U.S. women reported feeling very or somewhat concerned about influenza, compared to 48 percent of men. In comparison, 20 percent of women and 22 percent of men indicated that they were very or somewhat concerned about the Zika virus.
