Almost the same proportion of the respondents said they did not believe the health benefit claims.

Functional beverages described in other questions of the survey included energy-boosting drinks, fermented/probiotic drinks, low-calorie drinks, drinks promoting beauty/brain performance/health, functional water, "detox" drinks, etc.
Among a total of 3,605 survey respondents in Hong Kong, 750 said they had not tried any functional beverages.
