Trust in news and information sources in Russia 2015-2023
Public trust in television as a source of information in Russia declined since 2015, reaching 43 percent in January 2023. Furthermore, slightly over a fifth of survey participants stated that they trusted news websites more than other media channels. The share of Russians who stated that they were no sources that they trusted more than others rose from 16 percent to 26 percent over the observed period.
