France: online shopping penetration 2010-2022, by age group

According to a survey conducted in France in 2022, the percentage of people who made purchases on the internet in the last 12 months varies across age groups. Users aged 25 to 39 were the most active online shoppers, with 88 percent of respondents reporting having purchased in the last examined year. In comparison, only 48 percent of respondents aged 70 and older reported shopping online in the year examined.
