Share of young people deleting their social media account in France 2020, by age
Some members of the young generation are deleting their social media accounts in France in 2020. It appears through these figures that Facebook was the social media platform from which the 16-18 and 19-21 age groups were distancing themselves the most (15 and 11 percent, respectively). Of the 22-25 years old, Snapchat was deleted by 12 percent and Facebook by 10 percent of the respondents. Twitter was not far behind, with a 9 percent deletion rate for each 16-18 and 19-21 age groups.
