When asked about the impact of a potential disappearance of the internet, 24 percent of young Russians aged between 18 and 24 years said that such an event would change their lives to such a great extent that they would not be able to perform their everyday activities. Among middle-aged adults between 35 and 44 years old, 42 percent believed that they would be able to adjust, even though no internet access would significantly change their lives.
