Latin America: UTZ certified cocoa sales 2016-2018

In 2018, sales of Latin American cocoa certified by the UTZ program attained an amount of almost 81 thousand metric tons, a decrease of around 6.7 percent in comparison to the previous year, when sales totaled 86.7 thousand tons. UTZ is a program that is part of the Rainforest Alliance organization, which certifies goods and services that meet certain social, environmental, and economical sustainability standards.
