Latin America: Rainforest Alliance certified cocoa sales 2016-2018

In 2018, sales of Latin American cocoa certified by the Rainforest Alliance attained a volume of more than 15.6 thousand metric tons, a decrease of around 14 percent in comparison to the previous year, when sales added up to 18.2 thousand tons. This non-governmental organization certifies goods and services that meet certain social, environmental, and economical sustainability standards.
