In 2020, the highest number of hotel beds available in the Italian municipality of Rome was in four-star hotels. That year, the number of beds in such hotel facilities reached over 74 thousand, rising from roughly 73.3 thousand in 2019. Meanwhile, three-star hotels reported the second-highest figure in 2020, offering around 40.5 thousand beds overall.
