Distribution of ADSL subscriptions in Egypt in October 2022, by region
As of October 2022, Greater Cairo had the largest share of ADSL subscriptions in Egypt at 36 percent. The Delta accounted for 34 percent of the Egyptian ADSL subscriptions, followed by Upper Egypt, Alexandria, and Matroh with 15 and 10 percent, respectively. The region with the lowest share of ADSL subscriptions was Sinai, Red Sea, and Suez Canal cities. Moreover, the total amount of ADSL subscriptions reached 10.85 million across the country as of the same year.
