According to a survey conducted by Ipsos on predictions for global issues, 69 percent of Indians believed it likely that traffic in the area they lived in would get worse in 2020. Traffic congestion was a major issue across the south Asian country with an exponential increase in the number of cars. Uncontrolled traffic was a major contributor to road accidents in the country in 2018.
