Operator worries with the delivery food market in the U.S. 2019
Due to a variety of new apps and delivery providers such as DoorDash, Grubhub and Uber Eats, it is easier than ever for U.S. consumers to order delivery meals. While food/meal delivery opens up new business opportunities for food service providers it can also pose problems. According to the source, the most common concern of operators was unpredictable demand putting pressure on the kitchen, with 84.9 percent of respondents stating this. The least common concern was higher levels of dissatisfaction/complaints from delivery diners, accounting for 32.9 percent.
