According to a survey conducted by Ipsos on predictions for global issues, approximately 44 percent of Japanese respondents believed that it was likely that a major natural disaster would occur in 2020 and impact people in their town or city. The survey showed that about 30 percent of people worldwide were worried about a natural disaster occurring in their residential areas.
