In a survey conducted in 2020, regarding infrastructure investments being important for future economic growth in selected countries across the Asia Pacific region, 87 percent of respondents agreed that investing in infrastructure was important to China's future economic growth. On the other hand, 61 percent of the respondents thought investing in infrastructure was vital to Japan's future economic growth in 2020.
