Looking for sexual partners online was more common among men than women in Denmark according to a survey from 2017 and 2018. Over 22 percent of the male respondents stated to have searched for sexual partners on the internet, whereas the corresponding figure for women was under nine percent.
Denmark led among the other Nordic countries, by share of adults who had tried dating apps. 38 percent of the Danes stated to have tried such apps as of 2018.
