Radio reached 67.2 percent of the population daily in Poland in 2021, which was a decrease as compared to the year before. In 2023, most people listened to the radio in their cars and outside the house.

Between 2013 and 2022, the amount of daily time spent listening to the radio fluctuated, averaging around 254 minutes. Population wise, radio reached just over 67 percent of Poles daily, with FM radio receiver being the most favored reception type. Although radio reaches Poles of all ages, it was the most popular among people aged between 40 to 59 years old.
Radio listenership in Poland
Radio RMF FM has been the undisputed leader across the country in terms of radio listenership ranking, reaching over 30 percent listenership rate in 2022. In addition, the radio station took first place among various listenership categories. For instance, it was the most listened to radio station among young people aged 15 to 24 years old, as well as it was the most favored broadcasting station among the residents of the largest cities in Poland.
