Nearly half of game developer companies in Warsaw, Poland, in 2019 used self-publishing as their dominant publishing model. Those who chose external publishers were more or less evenly split between Polish (27.59 percent) and foreign (24.14) publishers.

- Quantitative: questionnaire with 49 closed and semi-closed questions. Answers obtained from 29 companies, which is about half of all video game developers from Warsaw.
- Qualitative: series of structured in-depth interviews with 8 representatives of video game developing companies.
