Since the introduction of contactless payments more than ten years ago, consumers have embraced contactless cards and eWallets and other forms of digital payments and adopted them in their everyday consumer behavior. In a survey conducted of nearly two thousand active bank account owners who also use mobile phones regularly in the United Kingdom, 64 percent used a contactless card for daily purchases of under 30 British pounds.
