In a survey conducted by Ipsos in 2019, regarding the opinion of airport infrastructure in selected countries across the Asia Pacific region, 83 percent of respondents stated that the airport infrastructure in Malaysia was very or fairly good. On the other hand, in the same survey, 51 percent of the respondents thought that Japan's airport infrastructure was either very or fairly good in 2019.

Participants from 28 countries aged between 18 to 64 years old in the U.S. and Canada and 16 to 64 years old in all other countries.
