According to a survey on the future of world order conducted by Ipsos, around 55 percent of respondents in Malaysia agreed with the statement that the political system in Malaysia has been captured by an elite that is corrupt, obsolete, and unreformable. This was close to the total average of all the countries surveyed, which was at 58 percent.
