Economic impact of forest fires in Russia 2015-2022
The economic loss from forest fires in Russia was estimated at seven billion Russian rubles in 2022. In the previous year, damages due to forest fires cost the country more than eight billion Russian rubles. More than 15 thousand forest fires were recorded in Russia in 2021.
