This statistic illustrates the value of investment funds in Europe as of the second quarter of 2019, broken down by investor. It can be seen that out of the 12.25 trillion euros worth of investment funds in Europe, almost 5.15 trillion euros were owned by insurers and pension funds. In the third quarter of 2019, Luxembourg, Ireland and the United Kingdom ranked first by net UCITS assets, with net assets worth over one trillion euros.
