A wave of environmentalism is hitting Europe. More conscious consumption and waste reduction are agenda points in many countries. But do consumers in the Netherlands intend to have broken products repaired more frequently in the nearby future? To some extent, yes. Just over 40 percent of survey respondents indicated they planned to throw away fewer products, and instead have them repaired. This was well under the European average of 60 percent though.
