Annual change of the U.S. B-visa applications from Chinese citizens 2013-2018
In the end of 2014, the U.S. government extended the business and tourism visa validity to the Chinese citizens to ten years. As a result, the volume of B-visa applications from the Chinese citizens in the United States peaked in 2015. However, the number has been falling since then, representing a twelve percent drop in 2018 compared to the previous year.
