According to a survey conducted in March 2019, approximately 90 percent of respondents aged 10 to 19 years old in Japan were aware of virtual and augmented reality (VR and AR). More than 29 percent of respondents in this age group stated that they had already made personal experiences in this regard. The level of awareness and personal experience was similar among respondents in their twenties.
